Boulevardier is a barrel aged Barleywine brewed with our good friends Browar Stu Mostów from Wrocław, Poland. In April 2018 we brewed a double mash Barleywine wort which was boiled for several hours, fermented long & cool before being aged in select Bourbon & Vermouth casks. From that original 2018 casking, we blended now 4 year old Barleywine from those vermouth & bourbon casks with a portion of young Barleywine for a fresh citrus hoppy kick. This harmonious 2022 blend evokes flavours of one of our favourite cocktails, the Boulevardier.After some incredible responses from festival attendees this year, it’s already set to be one of our best reviewed barrel aged beers to date. We’re looking forward to cracking a few of these over the Christmas period.
